Bad Start For Titans

The Titans started the R.P.L. demoralised after Playboy Galaxy thrashed them 7-2. It was bad enough that the game was stopped two minutes early as the referee felt that the Titans had no chance of catching up. Rignor scored 4 goals and the manager, Jai scored 3 to put the Playboys in the lead. The Titans started in the commanding position by scoring the opening goal in the first minute, by Siddarth Datla. After that only Se Min Suh managed to score for the Titans, probably because everyone in the Playboys was trying to score.

Amazing Goalie Couldn't Save His Team

Priyankar Chand tried with all his might, after conceding an unlucky own goal, to save his team from humiliation, and he succeeded brilliantly. His team, Sexy Time could not score another goal after an early goal by Mala, but managed to salvage a loss from a humiliating defeat. Playing against S.S.R.S.S., the early goal was nullified by two own goals in quick succession, nothing else went past Priyankar, whose 15 saves made him the player of the game, and the best rated goalie in R.P.L. till now. The only question is can Priyankar continue his magnificent form?

R.P.L. Starts with a Bang!

There were several problems on the opening day of the R.P.L, the horrible weather, the unavailability of a ball. But eventually all this was forgotten as the game between Fraternity United and Mussoorie F.C. commenced. In the pouring rain, Yohan scored an early goal, putting Fraternity in the lead, but an equalizer was soon realized as Das put the ball into the net. This was followed by a goal by Young Jin, the star of M.F.C. After a few shots hitting the woodwork, Das managed to get a shot straight through the legs of the goalie.. Then the game became more intense as Kue came up to be striker, and within minutes a goal was under Fraternity’s belt. As the game was drawing to a close, with M.F.C. looking to win the three points, when Kue struck again, assisted by Yohan, and scored the equalizer. The last few minutes were spent by both teams trying to break each others defence, but it was not to be, and both teams went away with a point each.
